Anna G. Britt, age 84, of Elkhart, Kansas died Tuesday, September 03, 2013 at Morton County Care Center in Elkhart, Kansas. She was born June 1, 1929, in Clayton, New Mexico, the daughter of Donald and Harriet (Fry) Cozby. Anna lived most of her life in Elkhart, Kansas. She was a homemaker, sales clerk for Duckwalls, and worked at the Dairy Kreem. Anna married James Terry Britt in 1945. She was a very devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was fun to be around and supported her family in all their endeavors. Her family knew they would never be judged and had her unconditional love. She instilled in them a good work ethic and morals. Anna enjoyed circle track car races. She was a devout Christian serving as a Sunday school teacher for years and was a member of the Bible Baptist Church in Elkhart. Survivors include one son, Stephen Britt and wife Vivian of Elkhart, Kansas; daughter, Linda Koski of Elkhart, Kansas; six grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. Anna is preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers, Don Cozby, Jack Schultz; and sister, Gladys Stroud. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, September 5, 2013 at Garnand Funeral Home Chapel in Elkhart, Kansas with Pastor Jim Lavielle officiating. Interment will follow at the Elkhart Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday, September 4, 2013 from 10:00 AM until 8:00 PM at Garnand Funeral Home in Elkhart, Kansas.
