Angie Chacon, 51, died Tuesday, November 4, 2014 in Wichita, KS.
She was born January 1, 1963 in Denver, CO, the daughter of Max and Rosie Ortiz.
Angie was a graduate of SCCC and was taking courses through Fort Hays State University working towards her teaching degree. She was a Paraprofessional for USD 480 since 2006. Angie enjoyed playing bingo but most of all her family, her dog Bingo, her children and cherishing her grandchildren.
Her survivors include her son – Orlando Alfonso Chacon; daughter – Star Lynn Triscornia and husband Derrick; three brothers – Ned Ortiz, Salomon Jaramillo, Fernando Ortiz; five sisters- Margie Vigil, Patsy Ortega, Senida Romero, Ana Segura, Tanya Ortiz; grandson- Joseph Triscornia; granddaughter- Heaven Ly Triscornia; husband- Jose Alberto Garcia Quinones.
She was preceded in death by one son – Beto (Bebin) Chacon, one brother – Ernie Ortiz; mother- Rosie Ortiz.
Visitation will be Thursday November 6, 2014 from 1:00pm – 8:00pm and 9:00am – 11:30am Friday November 7, 2014 at Miller Mortuary.
Graveside Service will be at 1:00pm Friday November 7, 2014 at Liberal City Cemetery with Fr. James Dieker officiating.
