Angelina Casas de Ruiz, age 84, of Liberal Kansas died Thursday, November 5, 2020 at Southwest Medical Center in Liberal,
Angelina was born September 26, 1936 in Santa Clara, Durango, Mexico to Conrrado Casas and Tomasa Ordoz.
She Married Eladio Ruiz Castaneda in Liberal, Kansas. He survives.
Angelina Worked for many years for USD 480 in cafeteria services. She was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church and served as a Eucharist Minister at communion.
She was the Beloved Mother of

Francisco Eladio Ruiz Casas and his wife Tayde of Wichita, Kansas,
Oscar Ruiz Casas and his wife Sendy of New Mexico,

Alicia Hernandez and her husband Juan of Liberal, Kansas,
Rosa Maria Ruiz Casas and her husband Daniel Hernandez of Juarez, Mexico,
Carmen Ruiz Casas and her husband Jorge Medellin of Torreon, Mexico,
Lourdes Ruiz Casas and her husband Manuel Rodriguez of Liberal, Kansas
Angelina Ruiz Casas and her husband Antonio Chavez of Plains, Kansas
She was survived by brothers Eduardo Casas and Pantaleon Casas both of El Paso Texas.
Angelina was the beloved Grandmother of 33 grandchildren, 44 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great-Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and Grandson Alberto Ruiz.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 11, 2020 from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM followed by a Rosary at 7:00 PM, at the Hornung Family Funeral Home Chapel, 1212 West 2nd Street, Liberal, Kansas. Funeral Mass will be Celebrated on Thursday, November 12, 2020 at 1:30pm at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 1510 North Calhoun Avenue, Liberal Kansas. Interment will follow at the Liberal, Cemetery.
