Anari Aydee Medina Ayala, age 26, of Johnson, Kansas, died August 4, 2024, in rural Hamilton County. She was born June 28, 1998, in Meoqui, Chihuahua, Mexico, the daughter of Arnoldo and L. Angelica (Mata Vega) Medina.

Anari grew up in Ulysses and moved to Johnson after she married Fernando Ayala on September 13, 2016, in Johnson. Anari loved being a mom to Leo. She was able to stay home with him and spent many hours teaching him everything. She also treasured the time spent with her family and friends and helping with family events. Anari loved doing her hair, nails and eyelashes. She enjoyed being outdoors and going to the sand dunes riding on a Razor. She will be remembered as always being happy and the life of the party.

Anari is survived by her husband, Fernando Ayala of Johnson; son, Leo Ayala of the home; parents, Arnoldo and L. Angelica Medina of Ulysses; brothers, David Medina, Luis Medina and Brian Medina all of Ulysses; and grandmother, Ramona Vega of Mexico.

Anari is preceded in death by her birth mom, Ramona Aidee Vasquez, and grandparents.

Rosary will be Friday, August 9, 2024, at 7:00 PM at Garnand Funeral Home in Ulysses. Funeral Mass will be Saturday, August 10, 2024, at 10:00 AM at Mary, Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Ulysses, Kansas, with Reverend Eric Gyamfi officiating. Interment will follow at the Ulysses Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, August 9, 2024, from 10:00 AM until 8:00 PM at Garnand Funeral Home in Ulysses.
