Allie Lou (Alice Louise) Bradford

Allie Lou (Alice Louise) Bradford, 92, died February 26, 2016 in Olathe, KS.

She was born May 7 1923, to Earl and Ethel “Brown” Wooden in Guymon Oklahoma.

She married Edwin Royal Bradford November 18,1945.

She was a member of the 1st United Methodist Church since 1946, where she served on several committees and sponsored many Youth groups. She worked for Southwest Medical Center until her retirement in 1986.
She was a Past President of Epsilon Sigma Alpha and named an Outstanding Woman in 1969 within that organization. Also she was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary and Mothers Singers.

Survivors include two sons, Jim Bradford and wife, Mary, Olathe, KS; and Merl Bradford and wife, Kathy, Riverside, Mo.; four grandsons; two granddaughters and one great granddaughter. Her sister Gloria (Wooden) Girton lives in Wilmington, North Carolina.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin; a son, Allen Bradford; a daughter, Edwina Bradford; and two brothers Merl Wooden and Robert Wooden.

Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday morning March 2, 2016 at the First United Methodist Church in Liberal with Funeral Services following at 11:00 a.m with Pastor Keith Anglemyer presiding.

Burial will follow at the Liberal Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association in care of Miller Mortuary in Liberal Kansas.
