Allen B. Duncan, Jr., 58, died Thursday, Feb. 11, 2016 at his residence
in Liberal, Kan. He was born Oct. 24, 1957 in Dixon, Calif., the son of
Allen and Patty Ella (Gentry) Duncan. He graduated from Princeton
Community High School in Princeton, Ind. He worked for Cargill for many
years while living in Kansas City, Kan. from 1980-1984; Houston, TX
1984-1989; Plainview, TX from 1989-1991; Liberal, Kan. from 1991. He was
currently working as a sales rep for Southern Office Supply in Liberal.
He was a member of the St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Liberal.
He had a love for the outdoors and enjoyed fishing, hunting, golfing and
gardening. He also liked watching sports and was an avid San Francisco
Giants fan. He had been an umpire and referee for many years in
Liberal, officiating many kids sports.
He married Nancy Lamey on June 28, 1981 in Haubstadt, Ind. She survives.

1 son Jared Duncan Seattle, Washington
2 sisters K. Sue Duncan Concord, California
Cindy Duncan Dixon, California
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday at St. Anthony of Padua
Catholic Church with Fr. Jim Dieker presiding.
Vigil and rosary will be held at 7:00 pm Monday at St. Anthony of Padua
Catholic Church.
A celebration of life and a time of fellowship will be held on Tuesday
at 7:00 pm at the Parish Hall at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church
and other celebrations of his life will be held in California and
Indiana at a later date.
In lieu of flowers and plants, memorial contributions may be sent to St.
Anthony of Padua Catholic Church or St. Catherine Hospice in care of
Brenneman Funeral Home 1212 W. 2nd Liberal, KS 67901.
