Alice M. Sloan

Alice M. Sloan, 92, of Liberal, KS died Thursday, August 29, 2013 at The Denver Hospice in Denver, Colorado.

She was born June 25, 1921 at East Campbellsville, KY, the daughter of George Robinson.

Alice married James Sloan in Liberal, KS. He Preceded her in death in 1965.

She was a Caregiver for many elderly individuals and children for many years. Alice enjoyed Reading, Baking, Children, Singing and loved Church. She was a member of the Community Baptist Church of Liberal for 66 years.

Her survivors include 2 Grandsons – Jason Sloan of Dillon, CO and Anthony Sloan of Wichita, KS; 3 Granddaughters – Earleen Denham of Santa Barbara, CA; Stacy Ross of Liberal, KS and Jackie Burns of Denver, CO. 8 Great Grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by 1 Son: Jerry Sloan.

Visitation will be Friday September 6, 2013 from 12:00 Noon to 8:00 PM at Miller Mortuary.

Funeral Services will 10:00 AM Saturday September 7, 2013 at the New Community Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Steven Bailem Officiating.
