Alan C. “Alley” Feldman

Alan C. “Alley” Feldman, age 69, passed away late Tuesday evening, June 27, 2017, at the Lone Tree Retirement Center, Meade, Kansas.
He was born March 28, 1948, at Fowler, Kansas, the son of Robert Clay and Esther Rosella (Goodson) Feldman. As a young boy he attended the Meade school system, graduating from Meade High School in 1966. Upon his graduation, he joined the United States Army, serving two tours in Viet Nam and one in Germany before being honorably discharged after eleven years of service. After his discharge, he was involved in several jobs in the hotel industry, living in California and Las Vegas, Nevada, before returning to Meade in the 1990’s. He later attended Dodge City Community College receiving his degree in computer networking.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church and AA, both of Meade. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, and spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his mother Esther Feldman of Meade; a brother, Glen David Feldman of Meade; and a sister, Nancy Ohnick of Meade.
He is preceded in death by his father and a son, Robert Eugene Kane.
Memorial services will be held at 10:00 Saturday, July 15, 2017, at the First Baptist Church, Meade. Cremation has taken place. Inurnment will follow the service in the Graceland Cemetery, Meade.
The family would welcome memorials to the Meade Golf Course or the Friends of the Meade State Lake in care of Fidler-Orme-Bachman Mortuary, Meade.
