MEADE – Agatha L. Isaac, age 96, passed away early Friday morning, June 8, 2018, at the Lone Tree Retirement Center, Meade, Kansas.
She was born December 4, 1921, at Meade, Kansas, the daughter of Jacob E. and Lena (Pauls) Wiens. As a young girl she attended the Sunrise Elementary School in rural Meade County. She later attended Tabor College. A lifetime resident of Meade, she was the supporting role of husband in family farming operations.
Agatha had sure faith in Jesus Christ as her personal savior and was a member of the Countryside Bible Church.
On August 17, 1941, she married George J. Isaac at Meade, Kansas. He precedes her in death on December 8, 2012.
She is survived by:
A son, Richard Isaac and wife Sharon of Corpus Christi, Texas
A daughter, Jeanette Tomlin and husband Frank of Montgomery, Texas
A brother, Ed Wiens of Valparaiso, Indiana
Two sisters, Helen Friesen of Meade, Kansas
Esther Harms of Meade, Kansas
Two grandsons, Freeman Tomlin and Chris Isaac
A great-grandson, Cole Tomlin
She is preceded in death by husband; a son Loren Wayne Isaac on April 12, 1982; three brothers, Eldo Wiens, Erwin Wiens, and Elmer Wiens; and a sister, Frieda Isaac.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 13, 2018, at the Countryside Bible Church, rural Meade. Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. Tuesday with the family present from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Fidler-Orme-Bachman Mortuary, Meade. Interment will follow in the Graceland Cemetery, Meade.
The family would welcome memorials to the charity of the donor’s choice in care of the funeral home.
