Duane Dean Ball

Duane Dean Ball, 88, of Kismet, passed away on Thursday, January 30, 2020.

He was born April 25, 1931 in Liberal, Ks to Emery Frank and Lorena Guilick Ball

Duane married Barbara Kent on Aug 17, 1959 in Garden City KS; to this union were born Emery Ball, Earl Ball and Sandra Ball Watt.

Duane grew up on the family farm outside of Plains Ks. Duane spent his life farming, where he later retired and moved into Kismet. Duane continued to stay active helping Earl with various farm work. Duane loved spending time with his sons and all of his grandchildren. He also enjoyed helping restore antique tractors with his sons.

Duane is survived by his wife Barbara of the Minneola, KS Nursing Home, two sons Emery and wife Laura of Kismet and Earl and wife Denise of Plains along with 9 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Duane is also survived by his sister Donna and husband Bob Walker of Kismet and his brother Darryl Ball of Garden City Ks.

Duane was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Sandra Watt and a baby brother.

Viewing will be 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday February 7th at Miller Mortuary in Liberal, KS.

Graveside Services will at 1:00 p.m. Saturday February 8th in the Kismet Cemetery.
