Charles “CJ” Jesse Dunbar III died Sunday, March 3, 2019, at his residence in Liberal, KS. He was born November 14, 1980, in Liberal, KS. The son of Charles Jesse Dunbar JR and Penny Van Buren. CJ attended Liberal High School, graduating with the class of 1999. He attended the Seward County Vo-Tech School. CJ was known by his family as a loving and protecting father, brother, son and friend. He cherished his son Caelan. He loved spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed fishing, camping and playing outside with his beloved children. He truly loved his family and graciously loved his job at M& M tire, Liberal KS as a service tech. He was a collector of many different things. Loving to collect knives, hats, Hot-wheel cars that would one day would enjoy with and pass down to his son. He especially loved his little trinkets. He was a man who always went out of his way to help others, even on days off. He would give anything to any person that truly needed it. He had the biggest heart towards any and every one. H will be truly missed.

Visitation will be from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm Sunday, April 7, 2019 at Brenneman Funeral Home Chapel, Liberal, KS.
Funeral service will be 10:00 am Monday, April 8, 2019 at Brenneman Funeral Home with Pastor Rex Petty officiating.
Cremation will take place after the service and inurnment will be in Tennessee at a later date.
