After winning two close games on Friday, the Seward softball team dropped two close games to Northeastern (Colorado) in Floydada, Texas Saturday afternoon.  NJC won 2-1 and 11-8.

In game one, Both teams scored in the first.  The Plainswomen scored in the third.  NJC out hit SCCC 2-1.  Kynleigh Kirby pitched for SCCC.  Brooklynn Castagnetta was 2-4.

In game two, Seward took a 4-1 lead after three.  NJC scored two in the fourth and the fifth to lead 5-4.  Seward plated two in the bottom of the fifth to lead 6-5.  But the Plainswomen scored two in the sixth and four in the seventh.

NJC is 5-9.  Seward is 2-6.
