North Ends Liberal’s Season Again

For the second straight season, Wichita North beat the Liberal soccer Redskins in Wichita to end Liberal’s season.  Tuesday afternoon, North topped LHS 3-0.  The game was closer than the final score would indicate.  This game was scoreless until North scored on a rebound with seven minutes left.  North tacked on two more goals with Liberal players desperately trying to make something happen.  Liberal finishes 8-9 and with a losing record for a second straight season.  The Redskins will return much of this year’s team next year.
