North End of Kansas Avenue To Temporarily Close For Construction

Earles Engineering of Liberal is informing the public that construction will be completely closing off the North end of Kansas Ave. from US HWY 83 to Tucker Road beginning Tuesday March 28 until Friday April 21.

Tarbet Construction will be re-constructing the intersection and installing drainage at North Kansas Ave. and Centennial Blvd. for the proposed IHOP, Hotel, and Old Chicago.

Construction is scheduled to take 3 to 4 weeks. A detour will be set up to route South bound traffic on HWY 83 around bypass to Tucker Road and West into Liberal. North bound traffic on HWY 83 will turn left on Tucker Road and into Liberal.
