New Telehealth Service Coming This Fall to AVHS in Partnership with HaysMed

Meade, Kansas – October 24, 2024—Artesian Valley Health System (AVHS) and HaysMed are thrilled to announce an exciting new partnership to bring urology telehealth services directly to the community! This new service will allows patients to access specialized urology care from the comfort of the local AVHS, eliminating the need for long-distance travel while maintaining high-quality care.
 
What services will be available? 
– Urology consultations via telehealth calls
-HaysMed urology services and procedures include:
Robotic surgery procedures (kidney & prostate)
Adult and pediatric urology
Treatment of diseases of the prostate
Cryosurgery
Laser surgery
Evaluation and treatment of impotence disorders
Lithotripsy (non-surgical) treatment of kidney stones
Treatment of male and female incontinence (surgical and non-surgical)
Prostatic ultrasound evaluation
InterStim therapy for urinary control
Penile implant surgery (complete treatment for erectile dysfunction)
We also specialize in minimally invasive treatment for enlarged prostate
