The first PBA Southwest Open is in the books.  Billy’s Ayr Lanes was alive with professional bowling this weekend and when it was all said and done, Nathan Bohr won the event.  Bohr won four thousand dollars after finishing play Sunday.  Bohr is from Austin, Texas.

Over 40 pro bowlers were in Liberal for the event from all over the country. The Southwest Open began Friday with a practice session from, a sweeper, and a pro am. The action continued Saturday and Sunday morning and afternoon. This event is part of a PBA qualifier. First place takes home four thousand dollars. That is considered above the average PBA winnings. The event counts toward the PBA 2018 Grand Casino Resort.
