Curious about what astronauts eat while they’re in outer space? Want to

sample some space food? For all this and more, come down to the Liberal

Memorial Library on Monday, Oct. 22 at 4 p.m.

The Library’s NASA series concludes with an examination of what types of

foods and drinks are taken into outer space. The topics discussed in

this presentation include, the nutritional value of the foods, how are

the foods are chosen and how hard is it to eat in outer space.

And of course, there will be an opportunity to try some space food. How

delicious is freeze dried ice cream, snack bars and powered fruit

drinks? Come down to the Library and find out what it’s like to eat like

an astronaut.
