Moscow has the Makings for a Big Season

The Moscow Wildcats could be setting themselves up for another run this football season. The 8-man division 2 Cats return six starters on both sides of the ball and have 16 players out for football. They have a new head coach in Travis Johnson who has been an assistant at Moscow the past several years. Moscow was 5-4 last season.

Moscow’s returning starters include senior quarterbacck and defensive back Breck Roop; senior wide receiver and defensive back Osvaldo Granillo; senior running back and middle linebacker Jonaton Manriquez; junior lineman Easton Bohl; junior lineman Jaron Thompson; and junior quarterback, tight end, and linebacker Lane Miller. Other key Cats include senior lineman J.T. Thompson, junior lineman Rigo Baustilos, and freshman running back and linebacker Alexis Manriquez.

Johnson will be a guest during the Wednesday morning Sportsguys between 7:37 and 9 on Talkradio 1270 and kscbnews.net. He will also be a part of Friday night’s Coach Speak lineup between 5-6 on Talkradio 1270 and kscbnews.net.
