Mind Boggling Chamber Bash a Huge Success

The Liberal Chamber of Commerce held their annual Chamber Banquet Saturday night at the Seward County Activity Center. The theme for this years event was “Mind Boggling, April Foolishness”. Corporate Tables were decorated and many attendees came dressed in accordance with the evenings theme.

A prime rib dinner, with meat donated by National Beef Packing Company was served prepared by Hunny’s from Guymon.

The Chamber recognized several businesses and individuals throughout the evening. In the Table Decorating contest,Third Place went to the Southern Pioneer, National Beef Packing was in second, and the 1st place winner was Edward Jones McKensie Hood and Justin Varnes. In the Peoples Choice Category, Golden Plains Credit Union was declared the winner. National Beef won the Best Use of a Prop Award.

Joe Denoyer won the Best Dressed Male while Celeste Donovan was the Best Dressed Female. Chastity and Daulton Wallace were the Best Dressed Couple on the evening.

Stew Cauble received his Past President’s plaque and scrapbook. The annual “Friend of the Chamber” Award was presented to EpicTouch and Chastity Wallace won the Ambassador of the Year Award. Celeste Donovan was the Chambers Merit Award winners. A Special Recognition Award was presented to Darrell Web for his years of volunteering to the Chamber. The Award was accepted on his behalf by Rozelle Webb.

Curtis The Mentalist wowed and entertained the crowd after the dinner and awards.
