Mike Fonseca is Hay Rice and Associates Athlete of the Week

Liberal senior soccer player Mike Fonseca is the Hay Rice and Associates Athlete of the Week.  Fonseca scored seven goals in Liberal’s 10-0 season opening win over Lamar at the Gary Cornelsen Sports Complex Saturday afternoon.  Fonseca and the Redskins open the Western Athletic Conference season at Great Bend Thursday evening at about 5:45.  The Redskins play Wichita Trinity Monday to begin the Wichita South Titan Classic.
