Again thank you to all the parents , student-athletes and past coaches that I had the pleasure of coaching with.

The Apaches hosted their last home game of the season this week.
The 7th grade Apaches took the field to face off against K.H. 7th grade Apaches faced a mountain of adversity this week with injuries playing a huge role in personnel changes. The Apaches came out strong and continued to fight the entire game. Unfortunately we were unable to get an offense going throughout this game and fell short of the endzone. Defense started off slow and allowed too many in the endzone the first half. The Apaches never gave up and continued to fight but ultimately fell short with a 34-0 loss this week.
The 8th grade Apaches came out strong on defense with a huge forced turnover by Allan Rios recovered by the Apaches. This allowed the Apaches offense to take the field and lead to a quick score by Francisco Cardenas on an outside run. K.H. was able to answer back when they ran the next kick return back to tie the game 8-8. Late in the first half K.H. was able to score and take the lead 14-8 going into half time. The Apaches started the second half with the ball and was able to control the ball through the 3rd quarter driving deep into K.H. territory but falling short at the half yard line on an outside run by Xaadin Navarro. As the Apaches went on defense with 1:07 left in the 3rd, daylight was not on our side, ultimately ending the game with the Apaches down 14-8.
