Monday night the 8th Lady Warriors faced off against Seymour Rogers for the last game of the season. B team started off the evening winning 30-12. Leading scorer was Yuridia Gonzales with 12 pts, MarryAna Peregrino 8pts, Valeria Gandara and Scarlett Carr 4 pts each and Jyzelle Juarez with 2 pts. Next up was A-Team. A-Team struggled the first half but came together to get the job done defeating the Lady Apaches 36-27. Leading scorer was Maliyah Mullens with 11 pts, Miah Janko with a season high of 9 pts, Haiden Lyon and Devaney Carter 5 pts each, Jeslynn Heredia 3 pts, Yazlene Martinez 2 pts, and Brooklyn Short with 1 pt. Great season ladies for a 3rd place finish in WAC for A team. B-team finished their 7th and 8th grade careers undefeated! Good job ladies! Last the 7 grade Lady Warriors finished their basketball season by defeating their cross town rivals the Lady Apaches by a score of 26-15. The Lady Warriors jumped out to a 17-4 score at halftime and kept the pressure on in the second half. Leading the way in scoring was Sophia Mercado 6pts, Mia Sanchez 6pts, and Aubrey Rivera 5pts. Leading rebounder was Yarah Martinez 8 rebounds.

Last night the 8th Lady Warriors dominated the Lady Coyotes last night @ Dodge Comanche. Kicking off the night was B-Team just absolutely dominating the entire game. Your Lady Warriors won 65-0! Leading in scoring was Yuridia Gonzales with 21 pts, Savannah Olvera with a Season high 15 pts, MarryAna Peregrino with 10 pts, Scarlett Carr 7 pts, and Rebecca McLane, Ashley Batista, and Jyzelle Juarez with 4 pts each. Next up was A-Team. Lady Warriors were off to a slow start but came alive cruising by the Lady Coyotes wining 42-17. Leading in scoring was Maliyah Mullens with 15 pts, Devaney Carter 11 pts, Brooklyn Short 7 pts, Haiden Lyon 6 pts, Jeslynn Heredia with 2 pts, and Scarlett Carr with 1 pt.

The lady Warriors traveled to Dodge City to take Comanche. Comanche came out on fire hitting their shots and built a 18-2 lead after the first quarter. The lady coyotes continued to build their lead and at halftime the score was 27-5. In the second half the lady Warriors started to attack the basket more but the shots just were not falling for the lady Warriors. The Lady Warriors however did pickup the defense and held Comanche to only four points in the second half. The final score was 31-11. Leading scorer and rebounder for the game was Yarah Martinez, she had 6 points and 5 rebounds. The lady Warriors finish their season Tuesday night by taking on their cross town rivals Seymour Rodgers Lady Apaches at SRMS with the A-game starting at 4pm followed by the B-game around 5pm played at Prairie View Elementary.
