Last night the Lady Warriors traveled to Dodge City to take on the Lady Cardinals. The Lady Warriors were aggressive from the beginning of the game to the end of the game. At the end of the first half the Lady Warriors were up by a score of 30-2. In the second half there was a running clock and the Lady Warriors beat the Lady Cardinals by a score of 46-6.

The 7th Grade Lady Apaches played Garden City Horace
Good in their first home game of the season. The A team
played first. After the first quarter the Lady Apaches had 12
and Horace Good had 3. At half time the score was Lady
Apaches 20 and Horace Good had 8. After the third quarter
The Lady Apaches had 28 and Horace Good had 13. Final Score Lady
Apaches 34 to Horace Good 18.
Rae Rae Dean was the high scorer with 21, Jaylani West
had 2 points, Ana Vela Armendariz had 1 point, Viviana
Favila had 6 points and Evelyn Sandoval had 4 points.
8A from Coach Sniff –
The Apaches took on the Horace Good Hawks last night. The Hawks jumped out to an early lead outscoring the Apaches 10 – 0 in the first quarter. The Apaches were not able to get their offense going to overcome this early deficit and ended up losing the contest 28 – 10. We were led defensively by Ashley Vizcarra and Brianna Pinon. On the offensive end of the court we were led by Ashley Vizcarra who scored 8 points and Selena Ontiveros who scored 2 points.
From Coach Torres –
Seymour Rogers wrestlers traveled to Holcomb, Ks for a double dual. In our first dual
we wrestled Lakin the final score was 72-30. Dmarcus Denton came up with a solid win
in the 138 lbs. class. In our second dual of the night we took on Holcomb. We had
several key wins by pin against Holcomb by Alexander Gutierrez, Juan Ledesma, Mario
Mancilla, Abram Gonzalez, Gabriel Rodriguez and Alejandro Rendon but came up short
with the score of 45-54. These young men travel to Cimarron on Thursday for another
double dual against Cimarron and Scott City.
