Meade County Crash Sends Woman to Hospital

A three vehicle crash on Highway 54 Monday night sends Sharon Jury to the hospital. The Kansas Highway Patrol reports two vehicles were headed west on 54 about two miles east of Fowler. A semi was headed east. A car passed Sharon Jury’s car but cut into the lane too quickly and struck Jury’s vehicle. Her car spun into the east bound lane and was then struck by the east bound semi. The 50 year old Jury, who lives in Wichita, was taken to Meade County Hospital with injuries. The crash occurred at about 10:45 Monday night.
