A two vehicle crash has injured a Meade teen in Gray County. The crash occurred when Shiane Skye Wondra, 17, of Meade rear ended Richard Lee Herring, 54, of Willow Springs, Missouri, who was northbound on K23 in a 2016 Peterbilt Power Unit. Herring was turning east onto R Road however there was a combine on Road R and Herring was waiting for the combine to move when he was struck by Wondra.
Herring was not injured in the crash. Wondra was transported to Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, where she was treated and later released.
Seatbelts were in use in both vehicles
