Liberal, Kansas – After suiting up in 86 games for the Saints over the past two years, sophomore infielder Mason Hagel-Pitt has found his four-year destination having now signed his name on the dotted line with Colorado Christian University where he will suit up for the Cougars in the 2025 season.

Hagel-Pitt wrapped up a two-year career in Liberal with 86 games to his resume that included 90 hits, 60 runs, 21 doubles, 2 triples, 10 home runs, and 70 RBIs while also recording a batting average of .324 and an OBP of .416. He was a constant threat at the plate as a sophomore in the 2024 campaign where he recorded 48 hits with 10 doubles, 2 triples, and all ten of his career home runs while also driving in 46 RBIs for the Saints as he helped lead Seward County baseball to back-to-back 30+ win seasons. Hagel-Pitt really found his swing towards the end of the season as he knocked out home runs in three straight games against Pratt and recorded a 3/4 game in a win over Colby that saw him score 2 runs and drive in 2 RBIs.

“Colorado Christian will be a great future for Mason” said Head Coach Mike Davidson. “He should get on the field every day and have a lot of fun with their program. Ww all wish him the best and can’t wait to see what he does next season for the Cougars.”

Hagel-Pitt is now one of ten players to sign on to the four-year level for the Saints. He joins Trenton Rowan (Arkansas), Brian Luna Alvarez (Texas Tech), Todd Baffa (Maine), Cameron Cartwright (Colorado Mesa), Tyler Wilcox (Oklahoma Christian), Trent Gerber (Central Oklahoma), Elias Herrera (Northwestern Oklahoma State), Connor Raney (Dakota State), and TJ Newman (Evangel).
