Authorities in northeast Kansas are investigating the death of a 20-year-old man at a campground where a country music festival is being held.

Pottawatomie County Sheriff Greg Riat said Thursday that

security at Tuttle Creek State Park called his office Wednesday

after the man was found unresponsive at the campground. He said the

victim died on the way to the hospital.

Riat said no foul play is suspected but a death investigation is

under way, and an autopsy is planned. The victim’s name has not

been released.

Thousands of country music fans have begun arriving at the park

for the four-day Country Stampede, which opens Thursday.

This year’s opening-night headliner is Miranda Lambert. Other

stars on the schedule include Keith Urban and Montgomery Gentry.
