Malcolm Wiltshire is Hay Rice and Associates Athlete of the Week

Liberal sophomore track and field athlete Malcolm Wiltshire is this week’s Hay Rice and Associates Athlete of the Week.  Wiltshire won the WAC high jump title at 6 feet last week in Dodge City.  Wiltshire has emerged as Liberal’s most well rounded athlete capable of scoring in the sprints, mid distance, hurdles, high jump, relays, and the javelin where he was second in the WAC.   Wiltshire is a multi sport athlete who plays football and basketball.  He is a member of student council and in the leadership class at LHS.  Wiltshire and the Redskins compete at their 6A regional meet at Wichita Northwest on Friday.  The top four in each event make state next week at Cessna Stadium in Wichita.
