Makiah Adams is Mead Lumber Athlete of the Week

Liberal High School junior Makiah Adams is this school year’s first Mead Lumber Athlete of the Week. Adams had six kills and two blocks in Liberal’s 3-1 win over Southwestern Heights Tuesday night. Adams is one of Liberal’s five returning starters from last years 26-13 team. She is also a member of That Liberal Band and FCCLA. LHS plays Holcomb, Garden City, and Great Bend Thursday at Garden City.
