Machia Mullens is Hay Rice and Associates Athlete of the Week

Liberal junior track athlete Machia Mullens is the Hay Rice and Associates Athlete of the Week.  Mullens won the javelin at 125′ and the long jump at 16’7″ Friday in the 5 State Relays at the Gary Cornelsen Sports Complex.  Mullens also took fourth in the 200 at 28.84 and took 5th in the 4×100 relay.  Mullens also plays volleyball and basketball.  Mullens is involved in NHS, student council, and edu-tourism at LHS.  Mullens and the Redskins compete at the Pre-State Meet at Wichita State University on Thursday.
