M.J. Foster is Hay Rice and Associates Athlete of the Week

Liberal senior runner M.J. Foster is this week’s Hay Rice and Associates Athlete of the Week.  Foster helped Liberal place third in their home regional Friday at Gary Cornelsen Sports Complex.  He had the second leg in the 4×400 and 4×800 relays which won regional gold.   Foster also placed second in the 800 at 1:59.92.  His PR in the 800 is 1:57.7 at Goddard earlier this season.  Foster has the school record for boys cross country at 16:08.50. This year,  Foster has also  been involved in cross country, NHS, FCA, and Prom Club.  He and the Redskins will compete at 6A state at Wichita State Friday and Saturday.
