Long time Liberal Doctor dies

Dr. Ian Yeats passed away early Saturday morning, February 21, enroute back to Liberal after surgery was performed on his leg earlier this week in Colorado. Yeats had been released from the hospital and was staying overnight in a motel when he passed away. Yeats has operated his family practice for many years in the Professional Building at 15th and Western in Liberal.

Details of funeral arrangements are pending. An autopsy is expected to be performed.
