Local Football Players Participate in Sharp Performance Camp

Several local football players participated in the Sharp Performance Top Prospect Camp in Salina Tuesday afternoon.  Liberal quarterback Brooks Kappelmann and wide receiver Zayden Martinez represented the Redskins at the camp.  Hugoton quarterback Isaac Martin and kicker Christian Zuzumbo participated at the camp.  Southwestern Heights’ Cooper Scripsick participated at the camp.  The athletes from all over the state were identified by Sports in Kansas and Kansas Pregame and participated in position specific non-contact drills and 1 on 1’s. Media such as 247Sports, Rivals, Sports in Kansas, Kansas Pregame, Gopowercat, and Jayhawk Slant were at Salina Stadium for the event.  College coaches from across the region were also in attendance.  The participating athletes are deemed capable of playing at the D2 level or higher at previous camps.
