Livingston Lifts Liberal Past Dodge

After a slow start, Liberal hit five three pointers in a 73-48 win over Dodge City Friday night in the ‘Big House.’ Liberal led 10-9 after one quarter and 27-22 at halftime. Kevin Livingston poured in a career high 30 points in the win. Alex Gilmore scored 13. The Redskins are 15-5 overall and 5-3 in the Western Athletic Conference. It’s Liberal’s first sweep over Dodge City since 1997. The Red Demons fall to 11-9 overall and 4-4 in the WAC. There will be a coin flip Saturday in Wichita to determine if 15-5 Andover Central or Liberal will be the top seed at sub state. Liberal will play Ark City or Wichita West in Liberal next week.
