Liberal’s Zach Mansell Wins Billy’s 10 Best Scholarship

Liberal’s Zach Mansell is the LHS winner of the Billy’s 10 Best Scholarship.  Winners  will be announced Thursday nights between 6-7 during the On the Sidelines Show at Billy’s on 102.7 and during the Friday morning Sportsguys between 7:37-9 and 1270 and kscbnews.net. Each week a deserving senior will be announced as a winner of a 350 dollar scholarship from Billy’s and 102.7.  An overall winner will be announced in early November. Martin joins Sublette’s Quinnton Gonzalez,  Southwestern Heights Payton LaPoint, Moscow’s Bryan Garcia, Hooker’s Robby Wardlaw,  Satanta’s Noah Young, Turpin’s Dawson Batt,  Beaver’s Gunhar Martin, Meade’s Lawson Luetters,  Hugoton’s Pedro Ordonez, and Tyrone’s Tanner Hurst as winners of the scholarship.

Mansell played fullback and linebacker for the Redskins.  Mansell led the Skins with 12 rushing touchdowns and 373 rushing yards and 41 tackles including four for loss with an interception.  Mansell is involved in powerlifting, track, and bowling.
