Liberal’s Rashida Davis Signs at McPherson College

Liberal’s Rashida Davis received quite a surprise on Thursday morning. The senior was unsuspecting in class when she was ushered out to the commons area at the south entrance at LHS. McPherson College was waiting on her. Rashida is going to be attending McPherson on a track
scholarship, but that isn’t all they celebrated. Rashida won a
scholarship competition worth over $9,000 and the admissions reps at Mac
surprised her and recognized her for this accomplishment. Rashida is
the first recipient that is an incoming freshman for this honor.
