Liberal’s Deladris Green is going the prep school route.  Green signed with El Reno, Oklahoma’s On Point Prep Academy Tuesday afternoon in the Big House gymnasium at LHS.  He will not lose a year of eligibility at the prep school.  His new head coach Johnathan Reid and and high school coaches Scott Hinkle and Ryan Petty were present at the ceremony.

Green averaged 10 points and eight rebounds per game his senior season helping the Redskins to an 18-3 season and a 7-1 WAC championship season.  He averaged 15 points and 10 boards a game his junior year,  nine points and seven rebounds a game as a sophomore, and four points and three rebounds per game as a freshman.  Green scored 25 points in Liberal’s state tournament game his junior year against Highland Park and had 27 that season against Gardne City.  He scored 23 against Perryton and at Dodge City his senior season.

Green and his new On Point Prep team play at Seward next season.  His interview airs during the Sportsguys on Thursday.
