Liberal’s Green Scores 21 in All Star Game

Three Liberal Redskins gathered together for another basketball game Thursday evening.  This time, they weren’t all on the same team.  LHS Redskins Cade Hinkle, Kylan Thomas, and Deladris Green played in the Classic Bowl all start basketball game at Boomer Fieldhouse in Woodward.  The White team defeated the Red team 111-87.  Green led all scorers pouring in 21 for the White team.  Yarbrough’s Kaden Lopez had eight, Goodwell’s Quentin Fankhouser had eight, Beaver’s Landon Weber had six, Guymon’s Hugo Hinojos had six, Hooker’s Hutton Parsons added four, and Texhoma’s Bradley Ferguson had two.  Goodwell’s Shawn Strain coached the White.

For the Red, Liberal’s Kylan Thomas had 10 and Cade Hinkle added two.  Hooker’s Cory Fischer had nine and Yarbrough’s Jace Stafford had eight.

In game two, the White defeated the Red 80-67.  Turpin’s Kaleb Parish had six.

Hooker’s Hutton Parsons won the Mike Mitchel one thousand dollar scholarship.
