The 9-year-old Cimarron River Rattlers were the runner up in the Midwest Plains Regional in Yankton, South Dakota. Sunday, Sikeston, Missouri beat the Rattlers 14-2. The Rattlers go 3-1-1 at Yankton. Lee Hatcher and Hunter Hatcher were named defensive MVP’s while Syris Dunlap was named an offensive MVP. The hustle award goes to Braxton Hyde and Syris Dunlap.
The Rattlers shared the state title with Fort Scott.
