Liberal Wins Two of Three in Colby

Liberal’s volleyball team went 2-1 in Colby on Monday.  The Redskins defeated Colby 27-25, 25-18.  Then they lost to WAC foe Hays 23-25, 18-25.  Liberal defeated Phillipsburg 25-21, 20-25, 25-17.  Machia Mullens had 27 kills on the night.  Whitney Hay had seven aces.  Haylee Parker had 31 digs.  Liberal is 14-12 and plays at Derby’s tournament Saturday.
