Liberal Wins Hays Triangular

The Liberal volleyball team won both of their matches in Hays on Tuesday.  Liberal beat Phillipsburg 31-29, 25-17  and topped Hays 25-7, 25-22.  Jenna Ormiston had six aces and nine kills.  Rylie Hallman had 14 kills, 26 assists, and three aces.  Lizzy Cisneros had 34 digs and five aces.  Bree Horyna had 13 kills and 13 digs and Rachelle Terrazas had 13 kills and 27 assists.  Liberal is 12-14 overall and 12-4 after an 0-10 start.  The Redskins finally get to play in the Big House with their new nets Thursday  against Holcomb.  It’s a double dual as Liberal and Holcomb play at 4 for a best of three.  Senior recognition will follow the match.  Then Liberal and Holcomb will play again for another best of three.
