Liberal Volleyball Wins Two of Three in Hays

Liberal’s volleyball team won two of their three matches in Hays on Monday evening.  Liberal defeated Hays and Phillipsburg but lost to Colby.

In the Colby loss, Liberal lost 23-25, 26-24, 24-26.  Aubrey Warden had 13 kills while Machia Mullens and Bree Horyna had nine a piece.  Logan Dodge had 21 assists and Lizzy Cizneros registered 24 digs.

Liberal beat Hays 25-23, 19-25, 25-20.  Warden had 13 kills and Horyna added six.  Dodge had 15 assists and Cisneros had 19 digs.

LHS knocked off Phillipsburg 18-25, 25-23, 25-18.  Horyna had 12 kills while Warden had 10.  Sarah Mein had 20 assists and Cisneros had 30 digs.

Liberal is 11-14 and plays at Derby’s tournament on Saturday.
