Liberal Softball Sweeps Wichita Southeast in Wichita

Liberal’s softball team traveled to Wichita Friday for two games against Wichita Southeast.  Liberal won 18-0 and 21-2.

In game one, Kaeleah Chaloupek pitched all three innings with six strikeouts and one walk.  Chaloupek, Whitney Hay, Raegan Watt, and Lacie Lanning had two hits a piece.  LHS scored 11 in the first, five in the second, and two in the third.  Southeast had six errors.

In game two, Milly McClure pitched four innings with five strikeouts and one walk.  Lanning was 4-4.  Chaloupek, and Watt had three hits a piece.  LHS scored one in the first, nine in the second, three in the third, and eight in the fourth.  Southeast had nine errors.

Liberal is 6-4 and plays at Elkhart on Thurday.
