Liberal Softball Finishes 0-8 in the WAC

Liberal has been more competitive this year in Western Athletic Conference games, but still no WAC wins.   Dodge City swept LHS 12-3 and 9-0 Thursday afternoon and evening in Dodge City.  Raegan Watt had two hits in the game one 12-3 loss.  This was a 5-3 game until Dodge scored five in the bottom of the fifth.  Liberal had seven errors.  In game two, LHS had just one hit.  It was scoreless until the Red Demons scored a run in the bottom of the third.  They added four in the fourth, one in the fifth, and three in the sixth.  Liberal is 12-8 and 0-8 in the WAC.  Liberal is the eight seed and plays the nine seed Wichita North Wednesday at 3:30 at Washburn Rural in Topeka.
