Liberal Settles for Second in WAC Volleyball

Liberal finished short of their WAC championship goal but still played good volleyball and went 3-1 Saturday in the Big House. Liberal opened with a win over Hays (25-18, 25-23) before beating Dodge City for a third time in as many tries this season (21-25, 25-18, 27-25) in front of a raucous Big House Crowd. Liberal lost to WAC champ Garden City (23-25, 22-25) despite leading both sets. Liberal bounced back and beat Great Bend (25-15, 25-20).

Liberal is 27-9 overall and plays at sub state Saturday.
