Liberal Run Rules Park City

The Liberal Bee Jays put it all together in an 11-1 run rule win over the Park City Rangers Sunday night at Brent Gould Field. The win gives the BJ’s the series win.
Braxton Hyde led the Bee Jays Sunday night with six strong innings on the mound. Hyde struck out 10 and walked one while allowing just three hits against a good offensive team in Park City.
The Bee Jays scored first with a run in the second. Blaine Thomas singled and scored on a two out RBI single by Quintt Landis. Liberal added a second inning run. Scott Anderson walked and scored on the Blaine Thomas triple to right. The Bee Jays broke the game open in the fourth. Tyler Boggs singled and Justin Harris walked. AJ Folds walked. Aidan Shepardson reached on an error at third which scored two runs to make it 4-0. Scott Anderson slugged a sac fly to right. Wyatt Grant and Blaine Thomas walked. Cason Gregory lofted a single over the shortstop to score two and make it 7-0 Liberal. In the fifth, Quintt Landis singled and stole second. AJ Folds walked. Scott Anderson lined a home run over the left field wall for the 10-0 lead. The Rangers scored a run in the seventh to make it 10-1. AJ Folds singled and scored on a wild pitch for the run rule win in seven innings.
Brandon Hyde worked six and Matt Floyd worked a scoreless seventh. Blaine Thomas was 2-2 and made it on base all four times. Quintt Landis had two hits.
