On Sunday, July 26th at approximately 1:00am, officers of the Liberal Police Department responded to the 200 block of Hoover for a reported stabbing. While on scene, officers discovered three adult male victims had been stabbed multiple times. All three victims were transported to Southwest Medical Center by Seward County EMS. All three victims were treated by Southwest Medical center staff, however one victim had to be transported to Wesley Medical Center in Wichita with life threatening injuries.

During the investigation, officers identified the suspect as being a 36 year old male. The suspect was interviewed and placed in custody for three counts of attempted murder, and one count of domestic battery.
