Liberal Police Investigate Armed Robbery

On Wednesday August 5th, at 7:15am, Liberal Police Officers were dispatched to the 20 block of South Sherman Avenue for an armed robbery. Information was received that around 6:00am, an occupant of a residence was robbed by three unidentified Hispanic males who were believed to be armed with handguns. During the course of the robbery, at least one of the displayed firearms was discharged. The suspects fled the residence in an unknown direction after stealing a television and PlayStation video game console.
