Liberal Police Department Recognizes Officers

The Liberal Police Department handed out their 2021 Awards Tuesday afternoon at the Mid America Air Museum. Both Chief William Cutshall and Deputy Chief Chris Head were on hand to present the awards.
Receiving the Officer of the Year Award was Officer Malerie Denison. Employee of the Year went to Bri Keller. Detective of the Year went to Det. Cook and Lifesaving Awards went to Sgt. Nieves And Sgt. Hampton.
Officer Josiah Smiddy received an award for Highest Number of Building Checks and Sgt. Lai had the Highest Number in Community Service. Officer Ebeling received the Community Service Award.
Officers Barkley, Smiddy, and Lt. Wade were also recognized for 10 years of service to the Department.
