Liberal Man Injured in Reno County Accident

A Liberal man was injured Thursday night in an accident in Reno County. The accident occurred at approximately 11:22pm on Kansas Highway 61 at mile marker 30, approximately 5 miles Southwest of Arlington,KS.
A 1996 Ford Econoline van being driven by Steve Leete, 72 of Liberal, was Southbound on K61 when he lost control of the vehicle due to icy conditions. The van entered the ditch and rolled, coming to rest on its side.
Leete was taken to Hutchinson Regional Hospital to be treated for his injuries. He was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the accident.
